Neovia Philippines made its first participation as an exhibitor in the International Farmers Summit 2018 last February 21-23, 2018 for a three-day agricultural and livestock expo held at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

Neovia Philippines had its first major participation in the largest agriculture and agricultural exhibition in the country filled with discussions and seminars – The International Farmer’s Summit 2018. This 3-day expo held on February 21-23, 2018 at the SMX Convention Centre, Pasay City welcomed thousands of farmers, feed manufacturers, farm suppliers as well as feed additive, veterinary and genetics companies, integrators and industry stakeholders from the local and international livestock and poultry industry.
One of the highlights of this expo was its International Practitioners Summit wherein farmers and farm owners were invited to attend the Poultry and Swine Curriculum. The event also had pig show which was participated by breeding farms in the local swine industry.
At its booth, Neovia showcased its brand in different lines such as aquaculture, livestock, poultry and pet food. Also, part of the booth was the premix and animal health lines wherein Wisium and Qalian products were showcased.
Neovia Philippines as a strong partner to support the local livestock industry
This event served as an important touch point to meet new and interact with current customers as well as to maintain and develop good relationships with its valued and potential clients. With its participation, the booth attendees were now aware that Neovia can offer quality products and feeds and that the company is willing to cooperate and support the local livestock and poultry industry.
The objective of this three-day event was to provide stakeholders with the latest technology and feed solutions aimed at improving the Philippines agricultural output.
The organizers stressed that enhancing the performance of the Philippine agriculture sector remains a key input to economic growth and inclusivity. For the Philippine Institute for Development Studies which released a report titled “Review of High-Value Agriculture in the Philippines with Comprehensive Subsectoral Focus: Livestock Industries.”, amid a slowly decreasing trend in the production value of agriculture, the livestock and poultry sector “presents a glimmer of light in local agriculture” projected to continuously grow in the next decades.
